OSC Activities
Trap Shooting
Members, guests, and the general public enjoy trap shooting weekly at the club's 5 station trap range.
Long Range Rifle
Long range rifle shooters meet regularly to test their skills at up to 400 yds at the club's outdoor range.
Muzzleloader
Muzzleloader enthusiasts across Michigan's Upper Peninsula have formed a regional organization to advance their common interests. The OSC and the UPMLA cooperate in many ways, including a facilities usage agreement that names the OSC clubhouse and ranges as the UPMLA home base. Muzzleloaders hold monthly shoots for much of the year and host an annual 3 day rendezvous each July - all at the OSC ranges.
Archery
Archery enthusiasts weekly enjoy a walk in the woods target course at the club's archery facility
Skeet Shooting
Another group of enthusiasts pursue skeet shooting weekly at the OSC skeet range.
Action Pistol
Action pistol enthusiasts meet regularly and use the short range portions of the rifle range. For safety, long gun activity is generally suspended on pistol nights.
Upland Bird Hunting
Many upland bird shooters in the Western Upper Peninsula support the local RGS/AWS chapter. Like the muzzleloader group, the Woodcock Society utilitizes the OSC ranges for an annual field day shooting event.
Axe and Knife Throwing
A recent addition - Suspended target blocks!
