We are excited to announce that the Ottawa Sportsmen's Club website has been updated and is now live at ottawasportsmensclub.org . Cassandra Duus did a fantastic job with the reset, preserving the rich club history embodied in the many photos and stories from our old site while adding lots of new material and packaging everything in a modern presentation, complete with stunning animations and videos of some of our more accomplished shooters in action on the ranges. Please look over the new site, invite your friends to view it as well, and when you see Cass, thank her for a job well done!
Our Hunter Safety Training Field Day is August 20th [flier attached]. Contact Mike Roth for more information.
M38 highway cleanup is scheduled for this Saturday, July 23. Supplies and safety training materials will be available at the clubhouse beginning at 9:00 am.
Long-range rimfire and centerfire folks will again host a rifle competition on Sunday, July 31st beginning at 10am at the range. Contact Bob Rebholz for more information.
Our annual Club Picnic is Sunday, August 14th, beginning at noon, at our Courtney Lake Campground. Potluck with the Club providing deep fried turkey.
The Board of Directors meets at the clubhouse at 7:30pm on Monday, July 25. The Turkey Shoot Committee meets on Monday, August 1st, at 6:30pm, followed by the regular monthly membership meeting at 7:30pm.
