Speaking of Turkeys, the Turkey Shoot Committee has started planning for this fall's 60th annual event on September 25th. It promises to be bigger and better than ever with some new events and special prizes. Stay tuned. To help with planning, contact Jack Lehto. As the event date draws near, sub-committee chairs will be on the hunt for volunteers.

The Ottawa Sportsmen's Club is honored to continue our relationship with our local law enforcement community as several agencies have recently used the indoor range and rifle range for their qualifying. A big THANK YOU to all of these dedicated men and women who help keep our community safe.
Action Pistol will begin on Thursday, June 9th, at 6pm at the Rifle Range. We use a steel plate rack - great fun except for the first plate which I contend has a hole in the middle of it, which my shots always seem to find. Contact Jim Hulkonen with questions.
Trap shooting is underway on Wednesdays at the Trap Range. Contact Mike Harkonen with questions.
Lighting has been upgraded to LEDs in the indoor range. Contact Roy Lyberg with questions about the rifle range and indoor range.
New lighting has also been installed in the Clubhouse meeting room. Very bright - very cheerful.
A new safety fence has been installed between the Trap and Skeet Ranges - high, thick boards - a significant and much appreciated improvement.
