Endowment Committee Operating Principles

  • January 1 to April 1 applications may be made and sent to the committee

  • By February 1 committee decides what dollar amount will be available for scholarships and grants for the current calendar year. This is accomplished from review of the year end statement.

  • At the regular monthly meeting in February the committee chairman will inform the OSC membership of the fund status and the dollar amount to be granted

  • April 1 to 30 applications are reviewed by the committee

  • Grants will be announced the 1st week of May

  • Available funds which were not formally granted through the application process may be granted to worthy projects, approved by the committee, between May 1 and December 31
